Toni Lynne (Whitaker) Brown

Toni Lynne (Whitaker) Brown, 58, of Berryton passed away in her home on March 14, 2022, surrounded by those that loved her.

She was born on June 28, 1963, in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of John and Mary (Saunders) Whitaker.

Toni was a 1981 graduate of Shawnee Heights High School.  She was a Beautician and managed several salons.  She loved nature, writing, and had a strong and simple faith.  Toni posted regularly on Facebook about her cancer journey and so much more, wanting always to encourage or give hope to someone else.  That was her life’s goal and what a legacy of love she left for all of us who knew her.  Seeing God’s creation was second nature to Toni, as she saw beauty that went unnoticed by most of us.

Toni is survived by her parents, John and Mary Whitaker, a daughter Frankie Brown, brother John Whitaker and wife Stacy, her nieces and nephews, Johnny Whitaker and wife Kasey, Amy Whitaker, William Whitaker and Josie Whitaker.  She was also loved by her aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26^th, at St. Matthew Catholic Church from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a Memorial Mass to follow.  Inurnment will be private.
