Timothy A. Jones

Timothy “Tim” A. Jones, age 60, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born the son of Floyd Wayne and Judith Jill (Kitchell) Jones on May 21, 1963, in Topeka, KS.

Tim served in the United States Army. After he was honorably discharged in California, he returned to Topeka and started his career in residential carpentry. He was gifted as a handyman and was considered a jack of all trades. In his spare time, Tim enjoyed fishing, watching nascar and cheering on his beloved Kansas City Chiefs. He will be remembered as a hardworking and very giving individual.

Survivors include two sisters, Cindy Cook and her husband Joe, Christine Martin; one brother, Gary Jones; longtime companion, Oradella Jones; 11 nieces and nephews; and four step-sons.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Pat Jones.

Cremation has taken place. An informal memorial visitation for a brief time will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 5-7:00 P.M., at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
