Susan Lynn Hastings

Susan Lynn Hastings, 71, of Topeka. KS passed December 28, 2021, at the University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus.

She was born August 22, 1950, in Topeka, KS the daughter of Paul and Fern (Wood) Trego.

Susan worked at KPL and will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Greg Jeanneret, five children, Valerie (Kelly McPherson) Musa, Leslie (Anthony Robert) DaPrato, James “J.D.” Musa, Ginger Musa and Shawna (Joey Shay) Hastings, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Fern Trego, a brother, Paul Dale Trego and a great-grandson, Dexter Hulse.

Cremation has taken place.  A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.  Burial of her urn will be at a later date in Solomon, KS.
