Steven Lee Weathers, age 60, has found peace after passing on November 8th, 2018 in Topeka, Kansas. Steven was the beloved son of the late William Weathers and the late Dorothy Winkle Weathers of Renton and Puyallup, WA. He was born in Wellington, Kansas. His family lived in various states because of his father’s work with Boeing. He was a 1976 graduate of Sun Valley High School In Aston, PA. Steven’s career was spent with Sun Ship in Chester, PA, Boeing in Renton, WA, and Lear Jet in Wichita, KS. His love of mechanics and electronics were very evident in his work and in his life. Steven is survived by his sister Patti Schast Jester and his brother-in-law Dean Jester of Moorestown, NJ. He is also survived by his niece Sierra Schast of Brooklyn, NY. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Craig Weathers of Puyallup, WA and nephew Daniel Schast of Malvern, PA. Steven referred to his kind friend Tyrone Beck in Topeka as his “brother from another mother”. Steven was a kind soul with a loving heart. He was caregiver to both his mother and brother at the end of their months here on earth. He was devoted in his caregiving. He will be sadly missed by each of us. A memorial service for Steven will be held at a later date when he and his family will be laid to rest together in Aston, Pennsylvania.
