Sophia Sue Erdley

Sophia Sue Erdley, 10, of Topeka, passed away on December 25, 2021 at the University of Kansas Health Systems, St. Francis Campus.

She was born in Topeka, Kansas on December 23, 2011 the daughter of Joshua Michael and Amy Nicole
(Ray) Erdley, Sr.

Sophia was a third grader at Logan Elementary School.  She loved school and her favorite subject was music.  Sophia loved to play with her dolls, sing, dance, swim and play with her siblings.  She will be remembered as a loving little girl.

She leaves her loving parents, Joshua and Amy Erdley Sr., her siblings, Gavin Ray, Joshua Jr., Kendra and Zachary all of the home, her grandparents, Kenny and Karen Ray Sr. and Mike and Jackie Erdley, and a great grandmother, Sharon Erdley, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Sophia was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Ernest Erdley, Perlia Jean Pribbernow. Omi Louise Schaefer, and Fred and Marion Ray.

Sophia’s family will receive friends at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, on Sunday, January 2^nd, from noon until 2:00 p.m.  A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m.
