Ronald Thomas Petrone

Ronald Thomas Petrone, 82, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Topeka Presbyterian Manor.

He was born January 15, 1944, in Hammond, Louisiana, to Nicholas Thomas Petrone and Lorena Marie (Hall) Petrone. Ronald graduated high school from St. Joseph Military Academy in Hays, Kansas, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Friends University.

Ronald lived in Topeka most of his adult life. He enjoyed listening and playing music, and was a talented musician, playing the guitar, piano, and violin.

Over the years Ronald worked in insurance, was a car salesman, and as a LPN.

He married Sharon Ann Eisele on March 16, 1991, in Topeka. They celebrated 35 years together. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Paula Sue Davis and husband Paul; son, Nicholas Robert Petrone and wife Christine; sister, Marsha Kay Briggs and husband Jeff; and 4 grandchildren.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:30am, and Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am, Tuesday, June 9, at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Inurnment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
