Patricia Lou Taylor

Patricia Lou Taylor, 95, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at her home.

She was born February 4, 1929, in Topeka, the daughter of Harley Wayne Reynolds and Winifred (Gilman) Reynolds.

Patricia attended schools in Topeka and went to Topeka High School.

She married Robert H. Taylor on April 22, 1946, at Assumption Catholic Church in Topeka.  He passed away September 4, 2013.

Patricia enjoyed raising her children, reading, and sewing.  Patricia was a volunteer for over 30 years at McCrite Plaza through St. Matthew Catholic Church.

She was also a successful sales representative for Avon.

Survivors include daughters, Catherine Taylor of Topeka, Laura Jean Cavender and husband John of Sabetha; sons, Donald Taylor of Topeka, Andrew Taylor of Perry; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Lou Taylor Minnick; son, Tony Taylor; and sisters, Marjory McCord and Emily Ellen Kuebler.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 22, from 6-7pm at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.  A rosary will be prayed at 10:30am Tuesday, April 23, at St. Matthew Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 11:00am Tuesday.
