Pamela Lynn Hoefer, 66, of Topeka, KS died Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at her home.
She was born July 30, 1955, in Topeka the daughter of Burl and Arlene (Williams) Baker.
Pam worked for over 20 years with her husband at their family business, R&B Aircraft, and later worked in customer service for Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 17 years. Even while working at BC & BS she remained active helping her husband. She enjoyed going on motorcycle rides and attended Fellowship Bible Church. The greatest joy in Pam’s life was to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Pam married Gregory D. Hoefer on March 27, 1978, in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include three sons, Jeff (Beth) Hoefer, Brian (Erin) Hoefer, and Troy (Ashley) Hoefer. Three siblings, Sharon Boyer, Becky (Daryl) Harrop, Gary (Sally) Woodman and seven grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Arlene Baker.
Pam will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where her family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
