Michael Adamé, 71, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Midland Hospice House.
He was born January 11, 1953, in Topeka, Kansas, to John Adamé and Teresa (Valdivia) Adamé.
Michael graduated from Hayden High School in 1971. He was the manager of the football team. After high school he went on to work for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 30 years.
Michael enjoyed a good game of poker, mainly to socialize and up the ante regardless of his hand. He liked to blindly gamble, play dominoes and he enjoyed a good game of pool. He liked watching sports, basketball and football but ALWAYS cheered on KSU! Michael stepped up to the plate and volunteered to teach family members to drive. He would spin and twirl you dizzy out on the dance floor! He always got in his infamous "grito” and followed up with his Tarzan call. He organized a few Santana bus trips that people will never forget. He was always ready to help out when he could. Michael enjoyed the "finest smokes”. He was affectionately called "Uncle Bubble!" He was an unrestrained free spirit! He brought the smiles.
Michael married Gloria Valdez on November 2, 1974, in Topeka. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include daughters, Kimberly Adamé and Virginia Adamé of Topeka; sisters, Carleen Adamé-Garza of Des Moines, IA, and Karen Phillips and husband Dave of Ft.
