Marisela Urista Valenzuela

Marisela Urista Valenzuela, 63, of Topeka, KS died Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 10, 1957 in Durango, MX the daughter of Manuel and Magdalena (Tamayo) Urista.

Marisela was married to Jose Valenzuela, he preceded her in death on November 6, 2006.  She is survived by two children, Maria Valenzuela and Victor (Mayra) Valenzuela, along with four siblings, Ramon Urista, Maria Urista, Valentin Urista and Magdalena Urista.  Nine grandchildren, Chato, Ricky, Carlos, Sally, Erick, Khristian, Jackie, Josie and Kayden also survive. 

She will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m.   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the funeral home.
