Margaret E. Allen

Margaret E. Allen, age 98, of Topeka, KS, died on Monday, July 5, 2021, at a Topeka area nursing home.

Margaret was born on October 4, 1922 in St. Mary’s, KS, the daughter of Frank W. and Anna T. Ozmer.

She had worked for the Kansas Highway Patrol along with the Kansas Children’s Service League in the role of Administrative Assistant. She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Margaret married Roy W. Allen on February 23, 1946 in Topeka, KS. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2002. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michelle Luedke on January 31, 1981, and a daughter, Linda Clarke on December 21, 2020.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Luedke of Garnett, KS; son, Robert Allen of Lee’s Summit, MO; sister, Bernadine Higgins; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. A Rite of Committal graveside inurnment will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Topeka.
