Harold Ernest Hernandez

Harold Ernest Hernandez, 57, of Topeka, died December 10, 2020 at his home.

He was born on May 18, 1963 in Topeka, Kansas the son of George and Arlene (Marshno) Hernandez.

He worked in the lawn care nursery business.  Harold enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends.  He also was a sports fan of the Las Vegas Raiders and the K-State Wildcats.

Harold is survived by a brother Daniel Hernandez, a sister, Antoinette “Toni” (Randy) Dodds all of Topea, a half-brother, Vincent Hernandez of Mayetta, and two half-sisters, Dolly Potts of Wisconsin and Denise Hinds of Mayetta and many nieces and nephews.

Harold will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Tuesday after 2:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in the Dance Ground Cemetery on the Pottawatomi Indian Reservation.  The family would like to encourage you to wear Raiders or Wildcat attire to his service.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home to assist his family with expenses and sent in care of 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
