Gerardo Garcia

Gerardo Garcia, 66, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025, at The University of Kansas Hospital St. Francis Campus in Topeka.

He was born May 9, 1959, in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico, to Juan Rodriguez and Antonia Garcia.

Gerardo enjoyed riding his bicycle and checking in on his children and grandchildren.

He worked as a carpenter for a pallet manufacturing company.

He is survived by his daughters, Yolanda Dominguez of Topeka, Rebecca Velazquez of Topeka, and Anna Mayfield of Atchison; brothers, Juan Rodriguez-Garcia, Antonio Rodriguez-Garcia, and Arturo Rodriguez-Garcia; grandchildren, Patrick, Nicholas, Yesenia, Joel, Emily, Andres, Pedro, Elian, Zaden, Eliana, and Arabella.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Gustavo Rodriguez-Garcia, Maria Rodriguez-Garcia, Martha Rodriguez-Garcia, Manuel Rodriguez-Garcia, and Theresa Rodriguez-Garcia.

Services will be private.
