George "Clift" Horsley, Jr.

George “Clift” Horsley, Jr., age 66, of Scranton, KS and formerly of Alabama, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Stormont Vail Hospital.

Clift was born the son of George, Sr., and Margaret W. (Cavin) Horsley on June 24, 1954 in Decatur, Alabama.

He married Polly Jones on August 9, 2019 in Alabama.

Clift was a longtime Facilities Manager for Hospital Operations in Alabama. He loved to fish, being at the Sea and spending time with his family, which was his greatest joy.  

Survivors include his wife, Polly; son, William Horsley (Natalie); daughter, Lara Gaines (Tim); four grandchildren, Emma, Tucker, Reed Gaines and Annie Horsley; step-son, David Jones and his three children, Scott, Garrett and Skyler Jones; step-daughter, Stacia Jones. He also leaves behind many dear friends and co-workers.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Margaret Carrington.

Cremation has taken place.
