Elisa R. Mendez, age 89, of Topeka, KS, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday morning, August 7, 2026.
She will lie in state from 5-8:00 P.M., with a rosary prayed at 6:30 P.M., on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, August 21, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery-Topeka.
Memorial contributions can be made in Elisa's memory to Helping Hands Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
