Destiny “Dustin” C. Voss, age 28, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 7, 2025.
Born on February 13, 1997, in Topeka, Kansas, to James Norton and Aimee Voss, Dustin lived a life marked by courage, compassion, and an infectious spirit that touched everyone he met.
In 2017, Dustin answered a higher calling by enlisting in the United States Navy. His time in service brought him purpose and pride, and he carried that sense of duty with him long after his honorable discharge. He later dedicated himself to a career in security, where he continued protecting others with the same unwavering commitment.
Dustin was known for his vibrant personality and magnetic presence. His quick wit and heartfelt humor made him the life of every gathering, and his genuine kindness left a lasting impression. Deeply rooted in his community, Dustin gave back through volunteer efforts throughout the city. He found peace and reflection in the simple joys of fishing at local lakes—a pastime that brought him serenity.
Though his time here was far too short, Dustin’s legacy lives on in the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the joy he brought to so many. His memory will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Dustin is survived by his loving wife, Chris Carrier; his beloved sons, Abram Voss and Elijah Hammond; as well as daughter, Ophelia Hammond. He also leaves behind his father and stepmother, Jim and DoraVon Norton; his mother and stepfather, Aimee Voss and Jimmy; three brothers, Alex, Brayden, and Chance Voss; stepbrothers, Robert and James Graham; and his grandparents, David and Diana Voss. Dustin’s legacy is also carried on by many cherished friends and extended family members who will continue to honor his memory through stories, laughter, and love.
