Demarcus Aiden Smith, Jr.

Demarcus Aiden Smith, Jr., beloved infant of two months and 13 days, passed away in his parent’s arms on Monday, July 18, 2022, in Topeka, KS.

Demarcus was born the son of Demarcus T. Smith and Cienna K. Brown on May 5, 2022, in Kansas City, KS.

His short life brought such great joy to the family. Demarcus loved being held, snuggling and had an infectious smile that would warm anyone’s heart. His short time in this world will leave a life-long impact on those he was around.

Demarcus leaves behind his parents; sisters, Aniya, Elisia, and Camari; paternal grandparents, Milliah and Timothy; paternal great-grandparents, Barbara, and John and his wife Judy; maternal grandparents, Tonya and Bryan; maternal grandpa, Keevie; maternal great-grandparents, Fannie and Tommy; maternal and paternal uncles and aunts, Caleb, Colby, Ty’Kia and Javana and a loving extended family.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M., on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions can be made in Demarcus’s memory to Midland Hospice Care in care of the funeral home.
