Connor Elizabeth Maggie McVay, age 32, of Topeka, KS, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in Topeka.
She was born the daughter of Roger and Laura (Narolis) McVay on August 8, 1992.
Connor attended and graduated from Hayden High School, graduating in 2010. While in school, she excelled is basketball and soccer. Connor loved to play sports but her greatest passion was teaching those younger than her in sports.
Whether you knew Connor or not, you quickly gravitated towards her as her personality could light up the room. Her bright smile shined, and her bubbly nature made everyone feel welcomed whether she was helping customers in her various roles or being with family and friends. At age 15, Connor started working for Rees’s Fruit Farm and continued to help throughout the years. Taking care of others came natural to her and she excelled while working as a CNA. During her leisure time, you could find Connor reading a book, adventuring around the farm, enjoying nature, or listening to 70’s era music. She took a liking to all animals especially horses, even raising a Colt; and her beloved Pitbulls.
Connor will be remembered for being the “Cool” aunt. Her happiest time was spent with her cherished nieces and nephews. They will remember the fun times and questionable but loving gifts Connor would gift them. Her life was complete when spending time her family, holidays or cheering on her Green Bay Packers.
Our hearts break that Connor has left this world. Her free spirit will continue to live in our hearts, and we take comfort that her faith has led her to the arms of the Lord. Connor, we love you, we miss you, and we can’t wait to see that beautiful smile when you greet us in Heaven.
