Cheryl A. Ramirez

Cheryl A. Ramirez, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020 in Topeka at the age of 77.

Cheryl was born on September 8, 1943. She was an avid KU, Kansas City Chiefs and NASCAR fan. She enjoyed collecting coins, cooking, connecting with friends and family on social media and being together with family on the holidays. Family was of the upmost importance to her and she loved her beloved cats.

Survivors include her son, Rick Ramirez, Jr.; daughter, Teresa Ramirez (Darren Janssen), seven grandchildren, Paul, Corey, Michael Paul, Pablo, Jr., Brianna, Molly and Renae as well as ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Antonio and Pablo Ramirez and a granddaughter, Chelsea.

A visitation with viewing will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 6-7:00 P.M., followed by a funeral service at 7:00 P.M., all at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. Cremation will follow after the services.

Memorial contributions can be made in Cheryl’s loving memory to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21^st St., Topeka, KS 66604. Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.
