Carol Lee Hamilton

Carol L. Hamilton, age 65, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Stormont Vail Hospital.

She was born the daughter of George R. and Fanny B. (Baulch) Maddux on October 3, 1960, in Montana.

Carol had a natural gift for hospitality and took great pride in the connections she made throughout the years while working as a server in various restaurants. She found joy in caring for others and creating welcoming spaces wherever she went. In her spare time, Carol embraced her creativity through crafting and cross stitching, and she had a special eye for unique antiques, building a cherished collection of trinkets over the years. She was also an avid sports fan and especially loved cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Survivors include her two sons, Ian Glanzman of Gladstone, MO, and Alexander Glanzman of Kansas City, MO; and her three siblings, Russell Maddux, Janet Maddux, and John Maddux.

Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.
