Carlos Emmanuel Colon Medina

Carlos Emmanuel Colon Medina, 29, of Topeka, KS died Friday, January 3, 2020 from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
He was born January 26, 1990 in Aibonito, Puerto Rico the son of Carlos Colon and Anna Medina.
Carlos was an apprentice electrician for Torgeson Electric and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
He was married to Karina “Ruby” Retana on May 16, 2009 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include his three children, Janeily R. Colon Retana, Joniel Emmanuel Colon Retana, and Julian Carlos Colon Retana. His parents, Carlos Colon and Anna Medina, along with five siblings, Leroy, Karla, Katria, Edgar and Gael also survive.
Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial of his urn will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
