Brad Lee Hall

Brad Lee Hall, 47, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Stormont Vail Health in Topeka.

He was born April 30, 1978, in Topeka, to Robert Ray Boling and Mary Agnes (Artzer) Tiernan. Brad attended elementary school at Sacred Heart Catholic School and graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1996. He then went on to study at Washburn University and The University of Kansas.

Brad loved sports. His favorite teams were the San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, The University of Kansas, and Kansas City Royals. He played football and competed in Track in High School. He enjoyed golfing and was a foodie, some of his favorite places to eat were food trucks.

He worked for Pac Sun as a retail manager for 8 years and went on to work for UPS as a loader and delivery driver for 18 years.

Brad is survived by his mother, Mary Tiernan (Frank) of Topeka; sisters, Valerie Carter (Derrell Crayton) of Tupelo, MS, Rachael Schmidtlein (Aaron) of Topeka, Danielle Hall of Manhattan, KS; stepsisters, Rian Tiernan (Mark Graham) of Okland, CA, Kye Tiernan (Alex Dent) of Washington D.C.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ray Boling; grandparents; uncle, Martin Artzer; and cousin, Ali Artzer.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm, Monday, August 18, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, and a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am, Wednesday, August 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Topeka. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery-Topeka.

Brad was an organ donor and his generous gift will continue to help many people.

Brad loved sports and comfort.  Guests are encouraged to wear casual attire, including a favorite sports tee or top, to the visitation in his honor.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Helping Hands Humane Society, sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave. Topeka, KS 66603.
