Diane I. Rosencrants

Diane Isabel Rosencrants, 52, of Lawrence, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Diane was an administrative assistant for the State of Kansas in Topeka. She was born May 20, 1954 in Holton, the daughter of Marion and Ellen Noonan Dreher.  Diane was a 1972 graduate of Hayden High School and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Topeka. Diane was a great loving child, wife, mother and friend. She was united in marriage to Patrick Kevin Rosencrants on May 28, 2005 in Lawrence.  He survives at home. Other survivors include her mother, Ellen Dreher, Topeka; a son Justin Hess, Topeka; two stepdaughters, Kristin Morrell and her husband Tom, Manhattan and Kelsey Rosencrants of the home; and a sister, Cindy Hicks and her husband Don, Topeka.  A grandson, Danny Hess, DeWitt, Nebraska and many nieces and nephews also survive. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 o’clock Saturday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.  Diane will be in repose from 4:00 until 8:00 Friday afternoon at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 West Sixth.
