Rose E. Schneider

Rose E.  Schneider, 90, formerly of Topeka passed away Monday, April 23, 2007 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Bloomingdale, IL where she had been living the past eighteen months.

Mrs. Schneider was a supervisor in dealer licensing for the State of Kansas before she retired in 1968.

She was born June 24, 1916 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Louie and Mary Opal Beebe Thoes.

Rose was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle #503.

She was married to Nick Schneider who preceded her in death in 1990.

Mrs. Schneider is survived by; one son, Dennis Schneider of Albuquerque, NM and two daughters, Gloria Shaughnessy of Bloomingdale, IL and Mary Anne Guice of Plant City, FL.  Five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthew Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.  Rose will lie in state from 4 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the Daughters of Isabella will pray a rosary at 4:00 p.m. followed by a Vigil Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m.
