Paul J. Boeger, 89, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2007 at St. Francis Medical Center.Paul was born on December 19, 1917 in Topeka, Kansas the son of Charles Joseph and Dora L. (Neifert) Boeger.Paul owned and operated Topeka Model Airplane Supply, he later worked for the National Advisory Committee of Aeronautics in Langley, VA, was a photographer for Boeger Studio, V.H.S. Engineering and Washburn University in the printing department.Mr. Boeger was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and was a foster parent.He married Agnes Sylvia Hallock in Topeka, Kansas on May 17, 1947. She predeceased him on March 31, 2005.Paul is survived by one son, Robert A. Boeger and his wife Estelle; two daughters, Mary Greiner and husband Dale of Topeka and Wendy Mentzer of K.C., Ks., a foster granddaughter Lorraine Seirer, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two step grandchildren.Mr. Boeger will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a Parish Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
