Jane Davis, 93, of Topeka, died October 23, 2009 at her daughter’s home.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 13, 1916 the daughter of John and Antoinette (Zdyb) Gill. She lived most of her life in the Chicago area and moved to Topeka in February of 2008 to be with her daughter.
Jane is survived by two daughters, Annette (the late Dick) Hoch of Topeka and Janice (Lance) Kalinoski of Chicago, IL., grandchildren; Laura (Stanley) Gierczak of Algonquin, IL., Ja’Nice (Tony Espinoza) Hoch of St. Joseph, Mo., Leah (Joseph) Tenuta of Palatine, IL., Lydia (Mark) Steinbach of Palatine, IL., and great grandchildren; Cassia Hoch, Ted Espinoza, Jesse Espinoza, Gavin Tenuta, Nathan Tenuta, Jonathan Steinbach and Isabelle Steinbach.
Services and interment will be in Chicago, Illinois conducted by the Schielka Addison Funeral Home. Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home is assisting with local arrangements. A Memorial Mass will be held in Topeka at a later date.
