Felix Labrador, 59, of Topeka, died November 5, 2011 at Midland Hospice House. He was born in Puerto Rico on November 3, 1952, the son of Reyes and Ana (Quinones) Labrador. Felix was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam era. He was a carpenter and worked in the home building trade. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He married Susan Burns in Topeka, Kansas on August 11, 1978. She survives. He is also survived by his father, Reyes Labrador, five children, April Labrador of Topeka, Felix (Teresa) Labrador Jr. of Kansas City, Ks., January (Tony Sr.) Crawford of Topeka, Ricardo "Ricky" Labrador of Kansas City, Ks., Sebastian (Nicki) Labrador of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, eleven grandchildren; Mercedes, Anthony, Shaian, Tito, Kadie, Diego, Stephanie, Bella, Xavier, Jonah, and Samuel, one great grandson; Cielo, thirteen siblings, Anadelfa, Marta, Digna, Milagro, Ivan, Jose, Guillo, Rene, Reyes Jr., Manuel, Johnny, Evelyn and Mary. He was preceded in death by his mother Ana Labrador. Felix will lie in state at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Tuesday after 4:00 p.m. where a Parish Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery with military honors conducted by Philip Billard Post #1650 of the V.F.W.
