Annette Munoz

Annette (Baum) Munoz, 51, of Topeka, died November 20, 2011, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Topeka, Kansas on February 28, 1960 the daughter of Joseph and Teresa (Engroff) Baum. Annette was a phlebotomist for the Kansas Dialysis Services. She married Arthur Munoz in Topeka, Kansas on December 17, 1992. He survives. Annette is also survived by two daughters, Michelle Roma and Misty Lester both of Topeka, one son, Michael (Shelly) Lester of Topeka, one step daughter, Nina Nijera of Seattle, Washington, one step son Christopher Munoz of Hampton, West Virginia, two brothers, Steve Baum of Topeka, and Joseph Baum of Carbondale and ten grandchildren. Annette will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Tuesday after 4:00 p.m. where a Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
