Mary Elizabeth Dinwiddie, 88, of Topeka, died Monday, November 21, 2011 at Plaza West Regional Health Center. She was born September 25, 1923 in Centralia, IL the daughter of Charles and Sarah Catherine (Troxell) Gibson. Mary managed a Hallmark Store in Sterling, CO and later managed the clothing department at the Fashion Barr in Boulder, CO. She enjoyed craft making, knitting, crocheting, reading and puzzles. She married William Brink Buchholz in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death on November 12, 1970. She married Jack Dinwiddie on May 25, 1996 in Topeka, he survives of the home. Other survivors include her children, Ron Buchholz (Darlene) of Columbus, GA, Diane Elliott (Stuart) of Topeka, Roger Buchholz (Kathleen) of Lafayette, CO, Mike Dinwiddie of Manhattan, KS, Dennis Dinwiddie (Denise) of Topeka, Margaret Harris (John) of Baldwin City, KS and Lea Dinwiddie of Topeka. Four grandchildren, Mark Buchholz, Beth Buchholz, Cassandra Cohen (Dane), John Thomas Harris, one great grandson, Sulliven Cohen and a sister Phyllis Randall of Centralia, Il also survive. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Friday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Rochester Cemetery.
