Lavon L. “Bobbie” Wead, 94, of Topeka, KS died Friday, February 17, 2017 at Aldersgate Village. She was born June 17, 1922 in Junction City, KS the daughter of Charles and Ida (Jackson) Cook. Prior to her retirement, Bobbie was a sales clerk at Montgomery Wards. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Bobbie was cremated. Private graveside inurnment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery at a later date.
