Larry M. Dominguez

Larry M. Dominguez , 63, of Topeka, passed away at his home on August 12, 2017.

He was born in Topeka, Kansas on May 27, 1954 the son of Paul G. and Epifania M. “Emma” (Martinez) Dominguez.

Larry was a tire builder for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company prior to his retirement. He was also a member of the Rubber Workers Union.

Larry was a member of the First Mexican Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, grilling, family time and spoiling his dog, Meco.

He was married to Rita Hinterweger and had three daughters with her. They later divorced and he married Pam Brown. They too later divorced.

Larry is survived by his three daughters, Tina (Mark) Dominguez-Wilson of Topeka, Christina (Kenneth) Lasley of Mayetta and Leticia (Erik) Dominguez-Soto of Topeka, thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, his siblings, Victor “Burke” (Anita) Dominguez, Alfred “Fab” Dominguez and Pauline “Paulie” (Aaron) Remfry all of Topeka and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Manuel and Eddie Dominguez and two sisters, Michela Dominguez and Rosemary Hernandez.

Larry was cremated. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Private inurnment will be held later at Topeka Cemetery.
