Jason S. Gomez, 38, of Topeka, KS died Sunday, January 28, 2018.
He was born October 17, 1979 in Topeka, the son of Alfred and Diane (Phillips) Gomez.
Jason was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching sports, especially KU basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jason is survived by siblings; Gina Altamirano, Michael Gomez, Christopher Gomez, Lisa Barnes (Patrick), and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Anthony Gomez.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 P.M. Thursday at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 P.M. with a Rosary being prayed at 3:30 P.M. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
