Julius A. Bose, Jr., 73, of Topeka, KS died March 15, 2018.
He was born May 24, 1944 in San Antonio, TX the son of Julius Bose and Juana Arredondo.
Julius served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked as a welder and rigger for Jeffrey Energy Center and enjoyed working on cars, fishing and was an expert marksman.
Julius married Loretta Bolejack on April 13, 1974 in Greenleaf, KS. She preceded him in death on September 25, 2013. He is survived by three children, Julius “Tino” Bose, Timothy (Coretta) Bose, Tammra Bose, two siblings, Gloria Colbath, and Marcial “Charlie” Soriano. Eleven grandchildren, Arrianna, Alicianna, R’Tino, Jesse, Adrianna, Secret, Selena, Timmy, Titus, Tres, Teagan and one great-granddaughter, Aubrey Loretta Nichol Thomas also survive. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Julius Bose and Juana Arrandondo, two sisters, Matilda “Tillly” Montemayor, Esperanza “Hope” Soriano and a nephew, Roland Castro.
A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. The family will receive beginning 2 hours prior to the service. Following the service all are invited to join the family for a reception at the Museum of Kansas National Guard, 125 SE Airport Drive, Topeka, KS 66619.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603 to be designated at a later date.
