Lavonna Marie (Bradstreet) Creviston, entered eternal rest and peace on April 6, 2018. She was born in Scott City, Kansas to Juanita and Richard Bradstreet on May 28, 1927.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James Marion Creviston, sisters, Dyckie, Edda, June and brother, Ronald. Survivors are children Judy, Joela, and James Creviston (Cheryl), Jill Quarles, and Jewelia (Bob) Oswald, 9 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The joys in her life were her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her church family. She joined Faith Lutheran Church in 1962 where she served as a Stephen Minister, Spiritual Life Leader, and Chairman of Miriam Circle L.W. M. L.
She was an early education teacher at The Capper Foundation, antique dealer for over 30 years. As an artist she participated in many juried art shows and was a long time member of the Topeka Art Guild.
Lavonna’s family will receive friends at Faith Lutheran Church on Thursday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Private graveside services will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Faith Lutheran Church sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave. Topeka, Kansas 66603.
