Therese Mae Wichman

July 25, 1944 — May 14, 2018

Therese Mae Wichman, 73, of Topeka, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 14 2018.

She was born in Kansas City, KS on July 25, 1944 the daughter of Morris and Rose (Brucken) Rogge.

Therese was a homemaker.  She was very active in all facets of life but she especially enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren.

She married Max Wichman in 1961 at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Kansas City, KS.  He survives.  She is also survived by three children, Chris (Marti Clark) Wichman, Kim (George) Kurtz, Lynne Rice-Wichman, eight grandchildren, Zachary, Justin, Kelli, Amanda, Ashley, Austin, Dylan and Jacob.  Three great- grandchildren, Jay, Jayla, Max, (not the dog), along with three siblings, Rosalie Harrington, Ronnie Rogge and Eddie Rogge also survive.   She was preceded in death by her parents Morris and Rose, and a sister Mary Roberts.

A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 pm. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Following the rosary, Max and his family will receive friends until 7:30 pm.   A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Church. 

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Parkinson’s Disease Research sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
