Cecelia Marie Wade

Cecelia M. Wade, 69, of Topeka, KS died July 22, 2018 at Stormont-Vail Hospital.

She was born June 16, 1949 in Parsons, KS the daughter of Everett and Edith (Dodson) O’Bryan.

Cecelia retired from the Missouri Department of Revenue and was a member of the Lakeview Church of the Nazarene in Topeka.

She married George M. Wade on September 21, 1968.  She is survived by her husband, George, of almost 50 years.  Other survivors include their three daughters, Kathleen R. Wade, of Topeka, Jennifer Lynne Abeyta of Denver, Edyth Ellene Williams of Topeka, nine siblings, Ronald Harper of Fort Wayne, IN, Lolitta Hedrick of Smithville, MO, Everett O’Bryan of Venice, FL, Betty Nicholas of Parsons, KS, Macy Carson of Lake Charles, LA, Sami O’Bryan of Kansas City, KS, John O’Bryan of Lucerne, CA and Jim O’Bryan of Independence, MO.  Nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Edith and a brother Ed O’Bryan. 

Memorial services will be 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Lakeview Church of The Nazarene, 2835 SE Croco RD.  The family will receive friends following the service.
