Busunda Joy Davis

Busunda Joy Davis, 67, of Tecumseh, KS passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the House at Midland Care.

She was born August 23, 1951 in Mount Vernon, NY the daughter of Lilly Brown.

Busunda spent most of her working career in the Criminal Justice System and had been active in several bowling leagues.

She married Henry Davis on December 16, 1975 in Columbia, SC.  He survives.  Other survivors include a son, Patrick (Tammy) Davis, a daughter, Lysa (Leo) Garcia, a brother, Manuel Rowell along with two grandchildren, Jaella and Kai Davis.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of her Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.  A reception will follow at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Salesian Missions sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
